About the Laboratory

The Laboratory for the Creation of Pedagogical Tools and Learning in Foreign Languages (LOAPL) is a research entity affiliated with the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the University of Oran 2 Mohamed Ben Ahmed. The laboratory advances research in language didactics, discourse analysis, and educational innovation through a multidisciplinary and collaborative approach.

Our Mission

LOAPL brings together faculty researchers and PhD candidates to tackle shared research questions in language didactics, discourse analysis, and cultural studies. We aim to innovate teaching practices for the contemporary challenges of foreign language learning.

Exploring language contact, language policies, and identity dynamics in multilingual contexts.

Discourse Analysis and Significant Objects (ADOS)

Leader: Lalaoui Chiali Fatima Zohra

Objectives: To revitalize reflection in applied didactics with meaningful objects and efficient tools to improve teaching/learning within the Algerian university.
