IMPF&MOD
Predictive Maintenance Engineering, Reliability, and Degradation Modeling
This team works on establishing the scientific foundations that support the different stages of the predictive maintenance process. Reliability-based approaches, physical models, data-driven methods, and hybrid approaches are investigated and applied.
Decision-making issues in the maintenance function are addressed at different levels, while patch repair techniques are also studied through optimization and finite element modeling perspectives.
Research Overview
Team 1 develops research frameworks and decision tools for predictive maintenance, system reliability, degradation modeling, and repair strategies in industrial environments.
Scientific Themes
Monitoring
Implementation of monitoring techniques, analysis, modeling, and development of detection and diagnosis algorithms.
Prognostics
Modeling and implementation of prognostic algorithms based on reliability approaches, physical model approaches, and data-driven approaches.
Decision
Decision modeling and implementation of multicriteria analysis at different levels of the maintenance function.
Patch Repair
Optimization and finite element modeling for repair-by-patch techniques.
